Pastor and first Lady
Dr. Tommy Mc Gee Jr.
Is native of a small town in east Texas called Warren, Texas, he is a graduate of Scott High School in Woodville, Texas
Pastor Mc Gee was called to Egypt Chapel Church in November of 1985. From his home church The Concord Baptist Church where he is a charter member.
He began his ministry at The Concord Baptist Church in the Sunday School Department first as a teacher, then as a divisional Superintendant, then as General Superintendant, Growth Group leader, deacon and then was called to the ministry in March of 1980, under the leadership of Dr. E.K. Bailey.
After being called to The Egypt Chapel Church Family, he obtained;
A Bachelors' Degree [Pastoral Ministry] - Dallas Baptist University - 1994
A Master Of Old Testament Theology - Criswell College {Cum Laude} Whose Who Among American University Students - 1996
An MDiv. Equivalent - Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary - Fort Worth - 1997
A Doctor Of Ministry [Pastoral Care] - Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary - 2000
The First Lady
Our first lady is a native of Waxahachie, Texas where she graduated from Turner High School
She also attended Brook Haven College
First lady is tremendously gifted in the area of Womens' ministry and has been and continues to be a tremendous asset to the Egypt Chapel Church.
The Family
Pastor and First Lady have been blessed with four boys;
James Anthony - Assistant Minister of Music at "The Chapel."
Tommy Craig - Minister [living out of state]
La Ray - Minister Of Music at "The Chapel."
Cedric D. - Computer Tech. [out of the city].
